Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline "Engineering methods of environmental protection part 1" is the study of hydrodynamic and thermal processes that form the basis of the technology of methods of environmental protection from anthropogenic liquid and gas emissions, processing and utilization of solid waste.
Завдання: Skills in using information and communication technologies. Strive to preserve the environment and ensure the sustainable development of society. The ability to improve methods of preventing environmental pollution and crisis phenomena and processes. The ability to formulate new problems and ideas in the field of informational environmental protection technologies, to choose appropriate directions and appropriate methods for their solution.
Learning outcomes: Formation of modern understanding of technological processes and their impact on the environment; the study of single hydrodynamic, thermal, which forms the basis of the technology of cleaning anthropogenic liquid and gas emissions, processing and utilization of solid waste
Required prior and related subjects: Physics. mathematics, chemistry.
Summary of the subject: Physical properties of the environment. Fundamentals of hydraulics. Layers of granular materials. Hydraulic machines. Separation of gas and liquid heterogeneous systems. Methods of mixing. Heat processes. Evaporation of liquids.
Опис: Introduction. The purpose and tasks of the discipline. Components and types of students' educational work. List of recommended literature. The connection of the discipline with previous and subsequent ones. Topic 1. General patterns of processes. Classification. Laws of equilibrium, conservation of transfer/ Topic 2. Hydrostatics. The concept of fluid, equilibrium. Topic 3. Hydrodynamics. Fluid flow regimes. Bernoulli's equation. Frictional pressure losses and local supports. Motion of a solid body in a liquid. Fixed and fluidized layers of granular material. Topic 4. Hydraulic machines (pumps). Compressor machines. Topic 5. Separation of heterogeneous systems by the precipitation method Separation of heterogeneous liquid and gas systems in the field of gravity. Separation of heterogeneous systems in the field of centrifugal and electrostatic forces. Topic 6. Separation of heterogeneous systems by filtering. Assessment methods and criteria: The current control (30%) - practical training, oral questioning. Final control (70%) - examination.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The maximum score is 100 points. Current control - 30 points. Examination control - test - 60 points, oral component - 10 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: A - grade "excellent" (88-100 points); • B – grade "good" (80-87 points); • C - grade "good" (71-79 points); • D - grade "satisfactory" (61-70 points); • E – grade "satisfactory" (50-60 points); • FX – grade "unsatisfactory" with the possibility of retaking the exam (26-49 points) h; • F - grade "unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study of the module (academic discipline) (00-25 points).
