Environmental Engineering Methods, Part 2
Major: Environmental information systems
Code of subject: 6.183.03.O.039
Credits: 5.00
Department: Ecological Safety and Nature Protection Activity
Lecturer: Prof., D.Sc. Petrushka I.M.
Semester: 6 семестр
Mode of study: денна
Завдання: studying the main regularities of processes based on the laws of conservation, equilibrium and transfer;
study of physical, physico-chemical and biological single processes and equipment; mathematical description of processes;
the method of apparatus calculations.
Learning outcomes: Acquaintance with modern constructions of technological equipment, periodical and reference literature, methodical recommendations on the course of engineering ecology. . Acquiring skills in conducting analysis of the received information, as well as an independent choice, competent decision in each case. Learn to work with literature, count machines and devices and protect engineering calculations.
Required prior and related subjects: mathematics, physics, engineering graphics, engineering ecology
Summary of the subject: Problems related to the separation of inhomogeneous systems (purification of gas and liquid media from solid impurities) for the separation of gas and liquid homogeneous systems (purification from gas and liquid contaminants), regeneration and heat recovery, concentration of solutions with thermal methods for the purpose of extracting valuable components and reducing emissions pollution of the environment.
Опис: Lectures and practical classes in the discipline "Engineering ecology part 1" discuss topics relevant to experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection. Not only the theoretical foundations and methods of separation of contaminated heterogeneous mixtures are studied, but also the practical aspects of their application to mathematical and engineering calculations. Environmental protection technologies are analyzed from the point of view of their use in the professional activities of environmental specialists. The skills of using modern methods of protection and neutralization of man-made load on the environment, information technologies for further training and solving scientific and technical problems are formed.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (20%) - consultations
Final control (80%) - protection of the course project
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (30 points) — practical
Final control (70 points) — exams
