Required prior and related subjects: Ecological safety of production technology, higher mathematics, chemistry
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Fundamentals of environmental protection from physical pollution" studies the physical essence of processes using heat that lead to environmental pollution. This educational discipline aims to study methods of combating energy pollution of the environment. After completing the study of the discipline, the student should know general information about the sources and types of energy and radiation pollution and their impact on the biosphere, methods of pollution control, typical processes and devices required for this. According to work curricula, students study the discipline in lectures and perform practical work.
Опис: Classification and main characteristics of the energy and radioactive pollution of the environment. General characteristics of the noise. Classification of noise. Normalizing noise parameters. Methods of protection against noise. Vibration. Methods of protection of industrial and consumer vibration. Use of natural phenomena and modern technologies to produce clean energy.
Assessment methods and criteria: - The current control (30%) are workshops, oral interviews and test; - The final control (70%) is an exam.
