Learning outcomes: Ability to investigate environmental problems and identify constraints, including those caused by anthropogenic, man-made and industrial environmental factors. Be able to develop technological solutions, schemes and perform technical calculations of all levels of complexity and perform part of the design work for the treatment of industrial pollution: • to find out the sources of contamination of environment extrass and wastes; • to conduct the analysis of the theoretical of technological processes; • to carry out the calculation of sewage treatment engineering plants; • to design the flowsheets of cleaning of industrial extrass; • to conductthe ground of choice of equipment for the reconstruction of operating and creation of new environmentally clean productions.
Required prior and related subjects: • Standardization and prognostication of industrial pollution emissions; • Research methodology and modeling of processes of industrial waste treatment.
Summary of the subject: Technological processes of environmental protection іs discipline, that engages in the study of the variety of processes, equipment and technologies of cleaning of industrial extrass is taken to the study of far of typical technologies, methods and methods from that the productive sewage treatment plants of different type of complication can be synthesized. In this course study the mechanical, physical, physical and chemical, chemical and biological methods of cleaning of industrial wastes; the simplest methods and methods of control of muddiness of environment, machine, vehicles, equipments and flowsheets, are for their realization. Examples of calculation and planning of equipment are made for realization of technological process.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control, oral examination (30%) • final control (control measure, exam), written-oral form (70%)
