Learning outcomes: Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, self-education and training based on innovative approaches in the field of ecology, environmental protection and sustainable use of nature: • familiarization with modern designs cleaning equipment, applicable standards and regulations; • development of advanced technology treatment of industrial discharges and emissions, good design of treatment (utilization) plants; • the ability to use reference, and periodic technical literature, guidelines; skills in analyzing the information received, the ability to make their own engineering solutions in each case. To know the legal and ethical standards for the assessment of professional activity, development and implementation of socially significant environmental projects in the face of conflicting requirements.
Required prior and related subjects: • Environmental biotechnology. • Standardization and prognostication of industrial pollution emissions. • Research methodology and modeling of processes of industrial waste treatment. • Utilization of industrial and household waste. • Environmental impact assessment.
Summary of the subject: Practice is the final phase of the study of allsubjects and is the great master's work, which is the prototype of the future master's qualification work. The practice involves the independent execution, ability to work with literary sources, compare and analyze the options and choose the best solutions, improve theoretical and practical training, and design skills of undergraduates. While working on the masters practice undergraduates perform technological and hydraulic calculations for the current standards, directories and reference books, choose the equipment for cleaning of industrial emissions, developing technological scheme of specific working conditions, taking into account environmental requirements.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Tutorial Exercises, Oral presentations (40%) • Final Examination (control measure, differentiated test) written-oral form (60%)
