Summary of the subject: The concept of hierarchical network design; Scalable network; Scale-free network design; Redundancy access networks; Methods for connecting LAN; Merge WAN; Ensuring broadband access; The protocols of modern networks; Monitoring networks.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports of practical work, oral examination (40%); • control examination (60% control measure, exam), writing (50%), oral form (10%).

Summary of the subject: Writing theoretical section according to the course tasks of the project; Calculation the parameters and selection of the access gateway; Designing distribution level; Equipment justification for core network.
