Summary of the subject: The discipline "Fundamentals of Information Technology" is an important part of modern education and training, as information technology has become a necessary tool in various aspects of our lives. Students will gain knowledge about the history of information technology, basic programming concepts, operating systems, networks, Internet technologies, and cybersecurity. During the course of their studies, students will also have the opportunity to develop practical skills in using computer programmes and working with digital resources. This programme opens up opportunities for students to further develop in the field of information technology and prepares them to use modern tools in their studies, research and professional careers. This course allows students to prepare for the requirements of the modern information society and expand their horizons in the field of technology, which will give them a competitive advantage in the labour market and contribute to the innovative development of society.
