Summary of the subject: The course is devoted to the study of basic technologies and methods of building distributed service systems and cloud technologies. The student must learn to deploy, operate and maintain distributed service systems and Cloud technologies.
Опис: Lecture classes Introductory lesson. Architectures of distributed systems. Deployment of distributed systems. Communication in distributed systems. Distributed P2P systems Saving information in distributed systems Fault tolerance of distributed systems Security of distributed systems Cloud systems Promising technologies of distributed systems
Assessment methods and criteria: Testing on passed topics (in a virtual learning environment) (10%). Protection of laboratory work in the form of a survey on the completed reports. (35%) Exam control (55%) (written component - extended answers to questions and problem solving (82%), oral component - questionnaires on the list of questions to be studied and submitted for semester control (18%).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control consists of two components: 1) Mid-term control - conducted in the form of testing on passed topics in a virtual learning environment, for which each student receives the appropriate number of points. Each topic includes the same number of questions and is evaluated on a five-point scale. The sum of points is multiplied by the correction factor - 0.66 2) Protection of laboratory work - is carried out in writing in PDF format. The PDF form contains information about the student and 5 questions to which the student must provide answers. Each question is valued at one point. As a result of the correct answer to all questions, the student receives 5 points. Examination control consists of two components: 1) written - - is made in writing in PDF format. The PDF form contains information about the student and 8 questions to which the student must provide answers. The first seven questions are test questions and are valued at 5 points, the last question at 10 points 2) oral - conducted in the form of a survey, where the student answers any three questions according to a pre-approved list of questions. Each question is worth 5 points
