Мета вивчення дисципліни: The main goal of studying the academic discipline is the formation of students of basic mathematical knowledge for solving problems in professional activities, analytical thinking skills and mathematical formulation of technical problems.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: • general competencies: 1) the ability to learn; 2) ability to think analytically; 3) ability to apply knowledge in practical situations; 4) ability to make informed decisions; • professional competences: 1) basic knowledge of scientific concepts, theories and methods necessary for understanding the principles operation of environmentally safe technologies; 2) the ability to argue the choice of methods for solving specialized problems is critical evaluate the obtained results and justify the decisions made; 3) the ability to apply professional knowledge and practical skills to solve typical problems of the specialty and justify the choice of methods for solving them, critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made.
Learning outcomes: As a result of the study of the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. Calculate the limits of a function and investigate the continuity of function. 2. Find derivative functions of one variable. 3. Find indefinite integrals. Calculate and use definite integrals. 4. To find partial derivatives of functions of many variables and to investigate the functions of many variables on the extremum. Learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following programmatic learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of mathematical analysis in radio engineering in the development of new complex radio engineering devices and telecommunication systems and the choice of optimal solution; 2. Finding basic information about the means of design and technological processes for the creation of telecommunication and radio engineering facilities; 3. Use of the acquired knowledge for rational use of natural and technical conditions during production activity; 4. Application of physical and mathematical apparatus for the analysis of processes in telecommunication and radio engineering devices and systems; 5. Application of mathematical knowledge in the process of solving professional problems, constructing mathematical models; 6. Application of special knowledge in mathematics and modern information technologies in solving professional problems; 7. Summarize the results and formulate the conclusions of the conducted researches for the purpose of their publication in professional editions.
Required prior and related subjects: - General Mathematics. School level; - Calculus; - Physics; - Linear algebra and analytic geometry.
Summary of the subject: The academic discipline "Higher Mathematics, part 1" is a component of the educational and professional program training of specialists at the first level of higher education "bachelor" in the specialty "Micro and Nanosystems of the Internet of Things". This discipline is mandatory, the task of which is to master the mathematical language and fundamental concepts of certain sections of mathematics.
Опис: The academic discipline consists of two sections "Differential and integral calculus of a single variable" and "Numerical and functional series". The first section deals with the following topics: (a) Functions of one variable, (b) Limits. Investigations on the continuity of the function, (c) Computation of derivatives and full investigation of functions, (d) Finding uncertain integrals, (e) Calculating definite integrals and their applications. The second section consists of the topics: (a) Sufficient tests of convergence of numerical series, (b) Fields of convergence of power series, (c) Trigonometric of series Fouriers.
Assessment methods and criteria: Student knowledge testing is carried out by means of oral questioning in practical classes, control and independent work in the virtual of learning environment, the terminologicals of dictations, individual calculation and graphic works.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control - 30 points; Examination Control - 70 points; Total for discipline - 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
