Summary of the subject: Legal and organizational bases of labor protection. State Department of Labor Protection and Organization of Labor Protection at Work. Occupational Hygiene and Industrial Sanitation in the Industry. Electrical safety. Categories and concepts in life safety, taxonomy of dangers. Risk as a quantitative assessment of hazards. Natural threats and the nature of their manifestations and effects on humans, animals, plants, objects of the economy. Man-made hazards and their consequences. Characteristics of man-made emergencies. Fire Security. Chemical safety. Radiation safety. Assessment of radiation status after accidents at nuclear power plants. Planning measures to protect the population. Emergency care in case of accidents
