Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to form future specialists with higher education the level of knowledge and skills necessary in their further professional activities on legal and organizational issues of labor protection, occupational hygiene, industrial sanitation, safety and fire safety, determined by the relevant state education standards, as well as an active position regarding the practical implementation of the principle of prioritizing the protection of life and health of employees in relation to the results of production activities and consists in the acquisition by the student of basic knowledge for carrying out professional activities taking into account the risk of man-made accidents and natural hazards that can cause emergency situations and lead to to adverse consequences; formation of students' responsibility for personal and collective safety.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: ZK9. Ability to work in a team. ZK10. Skills of performing safe activities.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: ЗН11. Argue the regulatory and legal principles when implementing electronic devices and systems; evaluate the advantages of engineering developments, their environmental friendliness and safety; defend one's worldview positions and beliefs in industrial or social activities. ЗН12. Use documentation related to professional activities, using modern technologies and office equipment; use the English language, including special terminology, to communicate with specialists, conduct literature searches and read tests on technical and professional topics.

Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Fundamentals of Occupational Safety and Life Safety" unites the system of occupational safety knowledge and skills (OS), which is studied with the aim of forming in future professionals with higher education the level of knowledge and skills in legal and organizational safety issues necessary for their further professional activities of work, on matters of occupational hygiene, industrial sanitation, safety and fire safety, recognized by the relevant state standards of education, as well as an active position regarding the practical implementation of the principle of prioritizing the protection of life and health of employees in relation to the results of production activities and life safety measures (BZD ) the purpose of which is the theoretical and practical training of future specialists in creating safe living and working conditions, mastering the principles of harmonious development of the individual and sustainable development of society.
Опис: 1. The legislative and regulatory framework on the issues of labour protection. 2. Hygiene and industrial sanitary. 3. Electrical safety. 4. Fire safety. 5. Categories and concepts in safety of life, taxonomy, risk as a quantitative assessment of the hazards. 6. Natural threats and the character of their manifestation and actions of people, animals, plants, objects of the economy. 7. Man-made hazards and their consequences. 8. Management of forces and means during an emergency.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control - (40 points). Completion of mandatory laboratory work and their defense in the form of an oral component. Carrying out individual practical classes, writing calculation and graphic work. Final control – (60 points, exam); oral and written components.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The form of semester control of the academic discipline "Fundamentals of occupational health and safety" is a semester exam. Accordingly, the semester grade is set as a total assessment of the results of the current control of all types of mandatory work provided by the work program of the academic discipline and the writing of the semester exam according to the selected ticket, namely: ? max 50 points for the written component according to the examination ticket. The structure of the ticket includes III levels of difficulty. (The 1st level consists of 8 test questions, each question is valued at 2 points, tests on the validity of the statement; The 2nd level consists of 8 test questions, each of which is valued at 3 points, with the choice of one correct answer; The 3rd level of difficulty consists of 2 descriptive questions, which are valued at 5 points each, to which the student must give a thorough answer. ? max 10 points – oral component, according to which the teacher communicates with the student and evaluates his knowledge. ? max 10 points for the performance of practical work (max 10 points for the work, of which 6 points ? for the correct performance of the individual task, 4 points ? for the systematicity of the work and the level of knowledge demonstrated in oral answers); ? max 10 points for the performance of calculation and graphic work (max 4 points for the correct performance of the calculation part, max 5 points for the correct performance of illustrative material and formulation of conclusions, max 1 point for compliance with the requirements regarding the design and structure of the work). ? max 20 points for the performance of laboratory work (max 5 points for work, and the results of performance, compliance with the requirements for registration and protection of work through testing in the National Emergency Service are subject to evaluation);
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
