Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the educational discipline is to study the general principles of the functioning of microprocessor elements and systems based on them, mastering the software and hardware of such systems, which are of great importance for understanding the principles of building algorithms for the functioning of microprocessors and controllers.
Завдання: General competences: ZK5. Skills in using information and communication technologies. ZK7. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. ZK12. Determination and persistence in relation to assigned tasks and assumed responsibilities. Professional competences: FC4. Ability to consider social, environmental, ethical, economic and commercial considerations affecting the efficiency and results of electronics engineering activities. FC9. The ability to determine and evaluate the characteristics and parameters of electronic equipment materials, analog and digital electronic devices for the design of microprocessor and electronic systems, devices of functional, quantum and laser electronics.
Learning outcomes: ZN.5. Use information and communication technologies, applied and specialized software products to solve the problems of designing and debugging electronic systems, demonstrate programming skills, analysis and display of measurement and control results. ZN.9. Design complex real-time systems and means of collecting and processing information, coordinated with given information and software means by applying software for embedded systems based on microcontrollers. UM.2. Evaluate the subject of educational activity, determine the general goal and specific tasks, choose adequate means of solving them to achieve the result, exercise the necessary self-control, use reference literature and technical documentation, develop and apply your creative and organizational abilities in professional activities, organize the workplace, plan working hours. UM.6. Analyze processes in electronic devices and systems using mathematical methods; ensure the specified modes of operation, use and operate electronic devices. KOM2. Use of communicative competence for effective interaction in various spheres of communication; selection and systematization of information materials for the purpose of communication in the professional sphere. AiB2. Responsible attitude to professional duties and performed work, independence in making and implementing decisions in the process of overcoming educational difficulties, relying on one's own experience in creatively solving the problems. AiB3. Independence in data processing, interpretation and generalization, responsibility for promptness, accuracy and reliability of information submission.

Summary of the subject: The program of the educational discipline "Microprocessors and systems based on them" is designed for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radio Electronics and Electronic Engineering who are studying Electronics. The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the physical foundations of the operation of devices and means of displaying information, as well as the main types and characteristics of modern devices and systems.
Опис: General information about microprocessors. Presentation of information in information and measurement systems. Principles of building microprocessor systems. Architecture of microprocessors. Processor operating modes. Generation of processors. Programming of microprocessor systems. Features of the architecture of microprocessors of different bit sizes. Construction of memory modules of microprocessor systems. Modes of operation of MPS. Interface of input-output devices. Microcontrollers. Programming of microcontroller systems. Arduino hardware and software platforms.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: completed and protected laboratory work, solving problems in the classroom, completing homework. Final control: differentiated credit.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Distribution of points on a 100-point scale. Current control: Current control: practical classes - 40 points; control work - 60 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
