Learning outcomes: By the end of the study, learners are expected to be able to: - to know the basic provisions of the general methodology of design of electronic devices; - the fundamentals of design of the structures and physical processes that occur in devices during their operation; - to know the methods of research quality indicators of constructive solutions with using probabilistic models; - to know the method of research of precision during architecture and design of technology of electronic device; - to know and be able to apply the experimental and statistical methods of research of structure of electronic devices.

Summary of the subject: The methods of research quality indicators of constructive solutions with using probabilistic models. The methods of research of precision during architecture and design of electronic device. Research of stability designs of electronic devices in terms of performance impact. Probabilistic methods of analysis of stability parameters. Reliability of electronic devices. Mathematical models of device failures in electronic devices. Focused and complex calculation of reliability. Fundamentals of prediction of level of reliability. Probabilistic methods in tasks for research of using reliability of electronic devices. Processing the research results with methods of mathematical statistics. Planning of active experimentation.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control: laboratory reports, graphic calculation papers, oral interviewing, written tests (30 %): laboratory works execution and defence - 10 points; tests - 20 points; - Final control: control procedure - written and verbal examination (70 %): written examination (test) - 60 points; oral interviewing (verbal examination) - 10 points
