Learning outcomes: To study the methods of supplying modern aircraft using onboard generators and accumulators; -examine the power supply scheme of the modern airliner AN-70; - study the methods of stabilizing the sources of direct current; -examine the methods of servicing modern chemical sources of power supply on-board equipment of aircraft.
Required prior and related subjects: Before studying this course, the student must acquire certain sections of other courses: - course of physics - basics of the theory of electrical circuits; -aviation electric machines and apparatus; -electric drive in aircraft systems.
Summary of the subject: The purpose of teaching this course is to study the principles of maintaining the power supply of modern airliners for the uninterrupted operation of on-board aviation electronics and executive systems of the electric drive. On the basis of understanding the basic methods of power supply, examine the methods of management of the main aviation airborne systems.
