Show the special role of satellite and other technologies in the global infrastructure. Study of the operation of existing satellite communication systems, as well as the newest technologies being implemented.
Завдання: 1. Study by students of the principles of work, methods of implementation of satellite communication systems. 2. Students' mastery of methods of access to global information communication systems and technologies of interaction with local networks. 3. The ability of students to use the acquired knowledge in the development and use of software and hardware tools for interaction with ground stations and space vehicles. The study of educational competence involves the formation of competences in students of education: General competences • ZK 1. The ability to study, to perceive the acquired knowledge in the subject area and to integrate it with the existing ones. • ZK 2. The ability to produce new ideas, to show creativity, the ability to system thinking. • ZK 3. Ability to research and analyze information from various sources • ZK 5. The ability to effectively use various theories in the field of training and production in practice. • ZK 9. Ability to use information and communication technologies, implement computer programs and use existing ones. • ZK 10. Ability to adapt and work in new situations. professional competences: • FC 1. The ability to use basic knowledge in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering necessary for effective professional activity. • FC 3. The ability to find out cause-and-effect relationships, analyze and summarize information for planning scientific research in a specialty. • FC 5. The ability to analyze the features of the structure and functioning of various types of systems. • FC 6. Ability to design components of modern telecommunication systems and networks. • FC 7. Ability to analyze technical information protection issues.
Learning outcomes: As a result of module studying a student has to: • know the principles of functioning, implementation methods of satellite communication systems • know methods of access to the global systems of infocommunications and technologies of interaction with local networks; • be able to use the acquired knowledges for design and exploitation of soft hardware to interact of ground stations with space segment.
