Abstract: Bondar A.O., Proskuryakov (supervisor) V.I., Bogdanova Y.L. (supervisor). Generalization of modern trends in the design of space objects research centers. (With the development of the observatory architecture project in Znesinnia Park). Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended abstract. We are all citizens of a single planet. We live on the shores of this tiny world, the third of nine planets orbiting our main star, the Sun. This star is just one of billions in a large galaxy called the Milky Way, which is just one of a billion other star clusters. This universe, the greatest of all our fantasies, is filled with greater miracles, than all our dreams and conjectures. The Planetarium is a theater that amazes visitors on the scale of the Universe, and gives a unique experience, makes you ask questions, and provokes people to think. Observatory (from the Latin observo - observe, closely monitor) - a scientific institution in which with the help of special tools perform astronomical (astronomical observatory), magnetic (magnetic observatory), seismological, meteorological and other observations, as well as process the results [1]. Speaking directly about Lviv, the Lviv University Observatory will celebrate its 200th anniversary next year. This is the oldest observatory in Ukraine, but it does not have a planetarium. Although a petition for its creation was published in December 2019, unfortunately it did not collect the required number of signatures [2]. Based on this, we can safely say that the topic is relevant. The explanatory note discusses the methods and principles of designing observatories. Which include the planning structure, the height of the building, the location of the control room, the traffic pattern and other factors. All these criteria are described in the context of the impact on the efficiency of the observatory [3]. An analysis of existing space research facilities has been conducted, and clear principles have been identified in spatial planning decisions. The classification of planetariums and observatories is also given. Existing objects are grouped into separate subgroups, which differ in their function, location and architecture. In addition to the above, in the research part, a number of questions and tasks were analyzed. • What is a planetarium and why are they important? • Philosophy and directions of planetarium design. • Educational levels and teaching methods in planetariums. • Innovative astronomical programs that contribute to the development of countries are presented. • Statistical analysis - newly discovered and existing planetariums. • Work with the audience and music, visual aspects, educational value of planetariums and observatories. • The world’s astronomical observatories have been researched and analyzed. • The main shortcomings of existing buildings have been identified. • An optimal plan for the development of the observatory as a public object has been developed. • Identified which public functions can be used to encourage people to visit the observatory. • Created its own concept of a modern observatory, which will be able to maintain its research function and meet the needs of the public. Study object - the object of research is the existing astronomical observatories. Scope of research - modern examples of astronomical observatories that successfully combine social and research functions that contribute to the development of astronomy as a science. Goal of research: The purpose of the work is a comprehensive analysis of existing astronomical observatories, identification and identification of shortcomings, finding methods to solve them and creating your own concept. Research results. The result, after all the processed sources, the analysis of existing design trends, was the creation of a unique object, with the development of the environment. This project embodies a successful combination of research principles of observatory buildings, and entertainment and cognitive function of planetariums. Eventually, the complex has a planetarium building, a separate building for scientists and three observatories, a plot of land around the lake, and an amphitheater on the hill, the stage of which is completely on the water. The implementation of this project will be a new stage in the development of astronomy in Lviv and Ukraine. This building aims to raise awareness of people in the field of space, creating an interesting space for leisure. Keywords: observatory, planetarium, research, astronomy. References. 1.
