Abstract: ANNOTATION Mukha A. V. Mediacompetence as a condition for ensuring the professional success of international specialists in the period of globalization: master?s qualification work. In the master?s qualification work, the essence and structure of the concept of «media competence», its connection with other concepts («Media», «Media Literacy», «media culture») are studied; the main threats in consumption and interaction with media content on the Internet are identified; the model of the influence of media content on the consciousness of society is studied; the factors involved in the formation of psychological influence on human activity in the field of media are identified and theoretically justified; recommendations are developed to improve the media competence of international specialists. The Introduction presents: the relevance of the topic, purpose, objectives of the study, methods used in the work, analysis of recent publications and testing of research results. The first section analyzes the theoretical apparatus of media concepts in research, basic definitions. The influence of media competence on the consciousness of the individual is clarified, and media socialization is considered as a basic concept of media competence formation. The development of media competence in the context of social development is traced. In the second section, the Internet is presented as the main source of media information in a globalized world. The peculiarities of the formation of media information competence are clarified. The general tendencies of media competence in the field of media consumption are traced. Positive and negative aspects of media consumption are considered. The third section highlights the factors shaping the media competence of the specialist.
