Abstract: Vorobets Yu.Yu., Shapoval S.P. (head). Innovative application of the combined solar system for heat supply of the hotel complex "Grand Hotel Odesa" in Odesa. Master’s qualification work. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2021 Extended annotation. Relevance of the research topic. For our planet and humanity to have a future, there is no choice but to reduce as soon as possible the dependence on traditional energy sources - gas, coal, oil, which have a negative impact on the environment and are limited in time. Prices for traditional energy sources will only increase. Over time, they will become inaccessible to most people on the planet, because their reserves are limited. Ukraine has seen rising prices for natural gas and oil products in recent years. Given Ukraine’s economic downturn in 2014, it is necessary to find an alternative to these problems. An effective way to address this is the introduction of energy saving measures in Ukraine and state support for the use of alternative renewable energy sources in the near future. After all, the huge amount of harmful emissions during the combustion of fossil fuels leads to catastrophic consequences for our planet - climate change due to the greenhouse effect. The use of renewable energy sources will increase Ukraine’s energy resources, as well as ensure environmental cleanliness, social and economic development. One of the most promising sources of renewable energy today is solar energy [4,6, 10]. Among the main advantages of solar energy - its inexhaustibility and exceptional environmental friendliness. Solar energy reaches the entire surface of the Earth, only exceptional areas of the planet are polar, which suffer from its lack. Almost all over the globe, only clouds and night prevent it from being used constantly. Such public access makes solar energy impossible to monopolize, unlike oil, gas and coal. ? The main thing is to use solar energy so that its cost is minimal or even zero. As technology improves and traditional energy resources become more expensive, this energy will find more and more applications. According to climatic conditions, Ukraine belongs to the regions with medium intensity of solar radiation. The amount of solar energy per unit area of the earth’s surface during the year is about 1100-1400 kWh / m2. For Ukraine, the most promising and easiest way to use solar energy is to convert it into thermal energy using a solar collector. Most solar systems are made in the form of flat structures. The negative factor of such solar collectors is the instability of their efficiency during daylight, the complexity of production, cost, as well as the difficulties of architectural and technological binding on buildings. A wide perspective is the development of engineering and technological solutions that will combine individual elements of buildings and structures with the simultaneous ability to absorb solar energy and convert it into thermal energy. A promising solution is a solar window that combines the functions of a solar collector and a window opening. Such a system can be used in new buildings and integrated into traditional solar heating systems (SHT). The purpose of the work is to develop a combined heat supply system with a solar window for the Grand Hotel Odessa hotel complex. Tasks of the master’s work: • analyze the advantages and disadvantages of existing FTAs and solar collector designs; • determine the load on the hot water supply systems (DHW) of the hotel complex "Grand Hotel Odessa"; • perform experimental studies of the solar collector in the FTA in order to determine their thermal characteristics; • on the basis of the conducted theoretical and experimental researches to receive graphic and analytical dependences of efficiency of a solar collector on determining factors; • substantiate the economic feasibility of using combined FTA with solar collector. The object of research is the solar heating system. The subject of research is the energy-technological process of obtaining solar energy FTA. Key words: solar energy, solar collector (SC), combined heliowindow, solar heat supply system, thermal parameters of SC. List of used literature sources: 1. DSTU-N B B.1.1 - 27: 2010.
