Extended abstract The measurement process is characterized on the one hand by the perception and reflection of physical value, and on the other hand - rationing, that is, assigning it a certain numerical value (unit ofmeasure). Conversion of non-electric values into electric can be carried out in the following ways: - active conversion of energy of one species into the energy of another species, resulting in the production of electrical values: voltage, current, charge; - impact on electrical values (passive conversion), requiring auxiliary energy: a) on the basis of direct application of physical dependencies. In particular it can be used depending on the measured value of such physical values as resistance, conductivity, magnetic and dielectric permeability, inductiveness, voltage, intensity of charges and radiations; b) these actions allow you to change such values as resistance, inductiveness, capacity; Measuring transformation can be carried out directly, with the sensitive element converting the measurementof the ln intoa physical value in the value suitable for its further processing (for example, when measuring lengths and piezoelectric method in measuring forces). Otherwise, the sensitive element allows you to move, turning further into an electrical or pneumatic value in this case, the mechano-electric transformation precedes the mechanical transformation of the changed physical value. Until further description of specific ways of measuring these issues will be educated in more detail. The values and units of their measurement, which are determined independently of each other, are called absolute or basic. The general conference on measures and scales and established seven physical values, units of measurement, which are taken for the main: length, weight, time, temperature, electric current, light strength and amount of substance. 8 It is fundamentally possible to directly convert different physical values into a digital form, but this task manages to go only in quite liquid cases due to the complexity of such converters. These are the converters that are meant when they talk about ADCs. Analog and digital converters (ADCs) are devices that receive input analog signals and generate corresponding digital signals that are suitable for microprocessors and other digital devices. Scope of research - processes of obtaining and transforming information about the geometric dimensions and positions of physical bodies. Study object – methods and means of analog-to-digital conversion of object position. Goal of research: The purpose of the master’s qualification work is to study the analog-to-digital position converter of the object to simplify the circuit implementation and increase accuracy. Summing up the results, we can say that this work offers a giver position of the object on the basis of a linear ADC. A sensitive element in this device was chosen re-sufficient sensitive element, which allows you to achieve the slightest errors in measurements.
