Master’s thesis. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2020. Extended annotation The master’s thesis is devoted to a topical problem - purification of the distillate fraction obtained from gas condensate to obtain the components of base oils. Thedevelopmentoftheoilrefiningindustryrequires a constantexpansionoftherawmaterialbasetomeetthegrowingrequirementsforthequalityofmotorfuelsandoils. Anotherreasonforfindingadditionalsourcesofhydrocarbonresourcesisthedeclineinoilquality. Analternativesolutiontothisproblemistoincreasetheshareofprocessingoflow-sulfurgascondensates. Thehighpotentialoflightpetroleumproductsingascondensateandthelowcontentofresinsandasphaltenesintheatmosphericresidueallowtoobtainhighqualityproducts, includingmineraloils. Thetechnologyofprocessinggascondensatetoobtainraffinateandselectivepurificationextractisknown. Vacuumdistillationofgascondensateproducesnarrowindustrialoilfractions 350-420 ° C, 420-500 ° C and 500+ ° C. Toobtainbasicmineraloils, thefractionsaresubjectedto a selectivepurificationprocesstoimprovechemicalstabilityandviscosity-temperaturecharacteristics. Carryingouttheprocessofselectivepurificationrequiresthestudyoftheadvantagesanddisadvantagesofthemostcommonintheindustryselectivesolvents - phenol, furfuraland N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone. Theleasttoxicsolvent, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, whichisusedtopurifybothdistillatesandresidualfractions, isusuallyselected. Recently, however, furfuraliswidelyusedas a selectivesolvent, becauseitismoreavailableandallowstoobtainhighqualityraffinates. Theprocessesofselectivepurificationofoilfractionsarecarriedoutatdifferenttemperaturesandmultiplicitiesofthesolventdependingonthecharacteristicsoftherawmaterialandtherequirementsforbaseoils. Furtheruseoftheobtainedraffinatesandextractsdependsonmarketconditionsandproductquality. Raffinatesduetothehighconcentrationofparaffinsarecharacterizedbyhighpourpoints. Therefore, toimprovethelow-temperaturepropertiesoftheraffinate, itispossibletointroduceadditives, carryouttheprocessofdewaxingorcombineshallowdewaxingwiththeintroductionofadditives. Theextractsareusuallyusedasrawmaterialsfortheproductionofcarbonblack, plasticizeroilorintheproductionofbitumen. The purpose of the master’s thesis is to calculate the installation of selective cleaning. The following main tasks were performed during the work: • the basic technological scheme is developed; • basic technological equipment is calculated; • the general plan on which the calculated equipment is placed is developed.
