Abstract: In recent years, there have been a number of new tendencies in the design of the subject-spatial environment of landscape objects. This is due to the awareness of the great impact of green areas on the environment in general, as well as the emergence of new technical means of creating landscape objects, the rapid transformation of the environment of gardens and parks, their interpenetration with urban systems. There are more and more types of landscape and recreational facilities that reflect the expanded cultural needs of society, the demands of different social groups, the preferences and inclinations of all people. We are still looking for ways to ensure the expressiveness of landscape and recreational facilities. However, in the 21st century, the situation in landscape architecture has changed even more dramatically. Landscape art pursues new goals, from the predominantly decorative it acquires more and more ecological features, reflects global trends in the scale of the world’s ecology, in response to deteriorating environmental conditions, declining natural areas, urban sprawl and many other factors. The challenges facing landscape design are now more serious - among them, first of all, the restoration of the biosphere. The explanatory note discusses the methods and principles of designing landscape and recreational facilities. Which include functional zoning of the territory, location of entrances, buildings, playgrounds, other structures, walking routes and other factors. All of these criteria are described in the context of the impact on the performance of the facility. The analysis of the existing recreational parks is carried out, clear principles in the decision of subject-spatial environment are defined. The classification of landscape and recreational objects is also given. Objects that differ in their function, location and architecture are considered. In addition to the above, in the research part, a number of questions and tasks were analyzed. • Definition of the concept of landscape-recreational object and history of the issue; • Researched and analyzed foreign and domestic experience in designing such facilities; • Selected and analyzed current trends in solving the subject-spatial environment of landscape and recreational facilities; • The classification and principles of designing landscape and recreational facilities are given; • Analysis of the regulatory framework of documents; • The issue of buildings in the landscape, in particular open and landscape theaters; • The proposal of the summer theater in the central part of the park has been developed; • Identified which functions can be used to involve residents in the cultural life of the city; • Created its own concept of development of the Hydropark in Pryluky, full of functions and which can meet the needs of the public. Study object - the object of research is the existing landscape and recreational facilities.. Scope of research - subject-spatial environment of modern landscape-recreational objects, which successfully combine various functions and contribute to the socialization and involvement of society in cultural recreation. Goal of research: The aim is to comprehensively analyze current trends in the design of landscape and recreational facilities, systematization and streamlining of methods for solving the subject-spatial environment and creating your own concept for the development of the hydro park in Pryluky. Research results. The result of the study was a project for the development of the “Babuki” Hydropark in Pryluky. - multifunctional public green space, the center of gravity of the city, designed to socialize the population and meet a variety of needs in terms of recreation and leisure. Much attention is paid to the logical functional zoning of the territory and its integration into the general system of the city, in particular the connection with the embankment of the Udai River. Areas of playgrounds and sports grounds of the park, designed for different age groups, have been studied in more detail. There is also a version of the summer theater in the central part of the park, which will serve as a place for concerts, festivals, celebrations, etc. Keywords: landscape and recreational facility, Hydropark, summer theatre, playground.
