Abstract: The designed building is an apartment building. House with a total building area: S = 1338 m2. The foundations of the building are strip behind the outer walls and free-standing monolithic footing under column, the walls - with a gas block, 400 mm thick, the overlap of all surfaces - round-hollow slabs, reinforced concrete prefabricated passages, the roof – flat with internal drainage. In this master’s thesis, a multi-apartment residential building on 5 floors and an underground parking lot were developed. The section of architecture contains 4 sheets of drawings; calculation and construction section contains 4 designed structures: precast hollow core slab, monolithic reinforced concrete beam, monolithic parking column and monolithic columnar foundation under the middle parking column and 3 sheets of drawings; technological - organizational section contains a calendar schedule of works, technological map, taking into account the danger of monolithic parking walls and construction master plan; in the section of economy the local and consolidated estimates for construction of a house are calculated. Also, the calculation and design section contains the scientific part of the master ’s thesis, in which non - metallic composite reinforcement was considered and a round hollow slab with the use of composite reinforcement was calculated. At the end of the scientific part, a comparison of metal and composite reinforcement is performed. The construction industry is one of the most important sectors of the economy, on which depends the efficiency of the entire economic system in the country. The importance of this industry for the economy of any country can be explained as follows: capital construction, probably like no other sector of the economy, creates a large number of jobs and consumes the products of many sectors of the economy. And, obviously, like no other branch of the economy, construction contributes to the development of small businesses, especially those that specialize in finishing and repair work, the production and installation of built-in furniture, etc. Thus, the growth of the construction industry inevitably causes economic growth in the country and the emergence of the necessary conditions to solve many social problems. But at the present stage of its development to talk about any competitiveness of this industry is not possible without decisive steps by the authorities. The house is located in a residential area, the plot is bounded on the sides by neighboring plots, existing buildings and a park. The relief directly on the site is flat. On the premises there are: playground, recreation area, sports ground and green area. The object of research is the construction of a residential building. The subject of research – the new construction of an apartment building on Stepana Bandera Street, 5 in Zhytomyr» The purpose of the study is to increase the number of residential premises in the residential area of the city. The results of research revealed that in this city the construction of a residential building, taking into account all the requirements of construction and the involvement of energy efficiency standards, will affect the best for the city, so it was decided to build this residential building.
