Abstract: In this master’s qualification work the analysis of the set fragment of the scheme of an electric network of JSC Prykarpattyaoblenergo is executed, loadings of new substation "Rozhniv" are calculated. 3 variants of 110 kV electric network development are presented, technical and economic comparison of the developed variants of network development is performed. Brands of new overhead lines and power transformers of the designed substation were selected. The main scheme of electrical connections, flexible and rigid busbars, switching equipment, measuring equipment, surge arresters, insulators and transformers of own needs for substation 110/10 "Rozhniv" are selected. The object of research is a fragment of the scheme of the electrical network of JSC "Prykarpattiaoblenergo" and the new substation "Rozhniv". The subject of the research is the modes of operation of a fragment of the 110 kV electric network of Prykarpattiaoblenerho JSC with the new Rozhniv substation. The purpose of the study is to develop and select the optimal scheme of development of a given fragment of EM with a new substation "Rozhniv" and study the modes of operation of 110 kV network with a new substation. In this master’s qualification work the schemes of development of a fragment of the 110 kV electric network of JSC "Prykarpattiaoblenergo" are developed and a new substation "Rozhniv" is designed. A study of the modes of operation of the EM with the new substation "Rozhniv". The input data and the scheme of the given fragment of the electric network are analyzed and described. The load of substations is calculated and power transformers of the designed substation are selected. Three perspective variants of the scheme of electric network development are given. The technical and economic comparison of the formed variants of development of an electric network by a method of consolidated expenses is executed. Calculated capital investment, annual operating costs and electricity losses for each of the development options. The optimal scheme of development of a fragment of an electric network from PS "Rozhniv" is chosen. Design currents and three-phase short-circuit currents are calculated, switching, protective, measuring equipment and transformers of own needs for the new Rozhniv substation are selected. The scheme of electrical connections of the designed substation with the designation of the selected electrical equipment on it is developed. The analysis of the established modes of a network is carried out, having calculated their parameters in the maximum and post-emergency modes. The studied network is reliable and the desired voltages do not exceed the allowable. Key words - electric network, operating modes, substation, power losses, network development.
