Abstract: The master’s qualification work shows the main methods of improving the dynamic characteristics in the design, modernization and operation of low-cost CNC machines. The structure, construction and basic parameters of some types of machines for performing such a front of works are considered and analyzed, as a result of which the main disadvantages and advantages are revealed. The main types of component machines were studied and recommendations for their selection were given. The analysis of HSM and force processing taking into account the basic parameters and calculation of deviations for maintenance of necessary accuracy is carried out. The paper demonstrated some methods for improving the dynamic characteristics during processing, taking into account practical experience, and also compared the effectiveness of the proposed ideas. The object of research is the dynamic characteristics of CNC machines. The subject of research is the improvement of dynamic indicators of HSM CNC machines. The aim of the work was to develop an algorithm for selecting machine components that affect the dynamic processing performance, comparing the power processing with HSM and highlighting the main advantages and disadvantages of these types of processing. Demonstration of methods (paid and free) to improve the dynamic characteristics during the design and operation of ready-made solutions. In this thesis, we considered the main advantages of the disadvantages of serial table machines, analyzed them, as well as the impact of certain structural elements on the dynamic characteristics. They showed the main methods of debugging and considered options for modernization and creation of improved models. The basis for the creation and modernization will be the replacement of certain components or parts, as well as recommendations for achieving the goals. Thanks to the modular principle of construction of this type of machines, we will be able to change these or those details of already finished products without special difficulties. This will primarily apply to the mechanical and electrical components of the drives of the main bodies of the machines. But the components of control and monitoring of the machine will also be considered. The paper also highlighted both the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed methods. Based on the analysis of all omissions, several methods of solving and improving were proposed to achieve the maximum possible result with minimal budget costs.
