Abstract: Work (manuscript) for obtaining a master’s degree in 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2021. The work consists of an introduction, 3 chapters, conclusions to each chapter, general conclusions, the list of resources, numbering 100 items, 51 of them in foreign language, appendices. The volume of work is 94 pages (including 82 pages of the main text), 2 tables and 10 figures. Today, the introduction of blended forms of training for the further development of higher education is one of the most important tasks. Blended forms of training are extremely important for further successful improvement of the higher education system. The development of technological progress allows to actively implement modern technologies into the educational process, which qualitatively affects the level of education in general. The main advantages of using blended learning technologies include reduced complexity in the learning and teaching process; improvement of communication between a student and a teacher; provision of support for the educational process; promotion of consistency and effectiveness of assessment; increase of productivity and efficiency of educational activity; the raise of education level, etc. In this master’s thesis the technologies of blended learning, their application in Ukrainian universities have been presented; the examples of the use of blended learning in European countries have been shown; the problem of blended forms implementation into the educational process while teaching “Forensic tools and methods of investigation of criminal offenses” course in higher education institutions has been theoretically substantiated, as well as the effectiveness of relevant experience on the example of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs has been tested; the theoretical bases of the use of blended learning in higher education institutions has been analysed; the analysis of methodical bases of blended learning usage in teaching “Forensic tools and methods of investigation of criminal offenses” course in institutions of higher education has been studied; the process of blended learning of academic discipline has been described; the results obtained in the survey of students about the advantages and disadvantages of organizing the study of the discipline “Forensic tools and methods of investigating criminal offenses” in the format of blended learning in the academic environment of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs have been researched, analyzed and interpreted.
