Abstract: In this diploma the inhomogeneity of the thermocouple with controlled temperature field was modeled. The reasons for the inhomogeneity of the thermoelectric converter and its influence on the temperature measurement result were determined. Known methods of combating thermoelectric inhomogeneity of thermoelectric converters, their advantages and disadvantages were described. The method for estimating the error due to inhomogeneity of thermocouple legs for conventional thermocouples and for thermocouple with controlled temperature field for operating times of 500 and 1000 hours at the temperature of 800°C was developed. The developed technique was implemented using the LabVIEW graphical programming environment. The choice of LabVIEW environment as an environment for the implementation of the assessment methodology is substantiated. The principle of operation of the developed program is described and its block diagrams are presented. The results of the studies of the measurement error for the thermocouple of the Chromel-Alumel type due to acquired during long-term operation inhomogeneity of thermocouples are presented according to this method. The evaluation results for both chromel and alumel electrodes separately and for the thermoelectric converter as a whole are presented. The dependence of the error on the inhomogeneity on the influencing value, the error of the regulation of the temperature field profile was shown. The obtained results were presented in the form of graphs and the coefficient of efficiency of thermoelectric converter with controlled temperature field profile was determined.
