Abstract: The first section of the master’s thesis reveals the essence and necessity of forming a strategic direction of enterprise development, describes its main types, identifies the advantages and disadvantages of existing approaches to its formation. In the second section the analysis of activity of the enterprise by an estimation of its internal and research of external environments is carried out, on the basis of which the strategy of its further development is formed. The third section substantiates the need to use the Balanced Scorecard to implement the chosen direction of strategic development of the enterprise. The essence of the Balanced System of Indicators is revealed, the structure and features of its construction are described, the strategic map of the enterprise concerning the reorganization strategy chosen for its further development is formed. In the fourth section the Balanced system of indicators of an estimation of a level of realization of the chosen strategic direction is formed that has allowed to form effective ways of improvement of a condition of the investigated enterprise and maintenance of its competitive development in the strategic period.
