Master’s thesis. – Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2021. Extended annotation In today’s world, supply chains need to be more flexible, resilient and sustainable than ever before. The concept of supply chain management is aimed at reducing costs, adhering to contractual discipline, achieving customer-oriented business processes, improving product quality, customer service, corporate social responsibility, taking into account modern environmental challenges. Many works of domestic scientists are devoted to theoretical and applied aspects of research in the management of sustainable supply chains, in particular: Krykavskyy E. V. [1,2], Pokhylchenko O. A. [3], Mashchak M. N. [1,6], Chornopyska N. V . [5], Dovgun O. S. [4,6] and others. Goal of research is to master’s qualification work is a theoretical generalization of the problem of sustainability of supply chains and practical development of recommendations for the implementation of eco logistical solutions. Study object is the research a supply chains of the Branch of Nestle Ukraine LLC, the largest food producer in the world. Scope of research is a set of theoretical and practical approaches, methods, technologies in the management of sustainable supply chains in the enterprise. The work highlights that sustainability of supply chains, like the circular economy, is to minimize environmental damage from factors such as energy use, water consumption and waste production, positively affecting people and communities in and around them. Indicators of measuring efficiency in the field of sustainable supply chain management and circular economy are presented and characterized. Researched how the COVID-19 crisis affected the sustainability of supply chains. Methods by which it is possible to make redesign of steady supply chains are presented. Peculiarities of sustainable supply chain management in Nestle Ukraine Branch have been studied. The strategic analysis of the enterprise activity is carried out. The socially responsible policy of the enterprise is considered. Was made ABC analysis of customers on the volume of goods returned for disposal. Nestle’s Zero CO2 roadmap has been studied, showing the entire product life cycle from raw material supply to disposal or recycling. Ecological solutions for implementation in the enterprise have been developed. In a pandemic, supply chains have been disrupted, downtime at ports, borders, etc. has occurred, and transportation costs have risen. Reshoring practice has been proposed as a way to increase supply chain sustainability. Current trends in the field of eco-packaging development are considered and some recommendations for its improvement and reduction of environmental impact are given. The calculation of the carbon footprint from coffee transportation was performed. Alternative transportation options according to the cost of transportation, transit time, environmental friendliness are proposed and the choice of the optimal carrier is justified.
