Abstract: Scientists рaid great attention to the development of agrarian business, its current state and prospects Aksonova O.V.[1], Lazareva OV [2], Kukina NV [4], Radchenko AA [5], Rybina LO [6], etc. Some issues on this topic are considered monographs on innovation processes Lisovska LS edited by О.М. Lyutak. [3]. 8 articles by Kulinich TV [5], on resources as a basis for the development of agribusiness potential and Matviy IE [6] in the work on the problems of forming an innovative culture of small businesses. After reviewing domestic and foreign literature sources, we concluded that the concept of "cost" is quite ambiguous, because we can identify at least three concepts for its interpretation: economic (involves understanding the costs from the standpoint of rational consumption of productive resources and achieving maximum profits); accounting (is the identification of costs based on the results of documentation of business transactions); [2] The object of the study is the number of production losses of LLC "Kolosiia". The subject of the study is the system of formation of directions for improving the activities of the enterprise - a set of theoretical and methodological provisions and practical measures to ensure the intensification of production and reduce production losses. The purpose of the master’s qualification work is to substantiate management decisions on the development of measures to intensify production and minimize production losses of LLC “Kolosiia”. In accordance with the set goal we have formulated and solved a number of tasks: - to explore the theoretical and methodological aspects of improving the efficiency of agricultural enterprises; - to analyze the financial, economic and process potential to increase the competitiveness of LLC " Kolosiia"; - provide recommendations on the formation of components for improving the activities of LLC "Kolosiia" on the basis of minimizing production losses. Of course, the main purpose of economic activity of an agricultural enterprise will always be to obtain maximum profit. To achieve this goal in today’s market simply need to use efficient management of business entities, which will meet the needs of consumers with products that will be competitive due to its 9 quality and affordable price. It is because of the above facts that the management of agricultural enterprises should be aimed at intensifying labor productivity while maintaining the competitiveness of products. Under such conditions, it will be possible to sell the product profitably and get the maximum profit, which can be further directed to the expanded reproduction of production processes. In the first section of the master’s qualification work "Development of areas of improvement of LLC "Kolosiia" the theoretical foundations of the concept of agricultural enterprise and production and economic activity, its evolution, content, purpose, functions and technologies. The scientific literature on modern methods of improving the efficiency of agricultural enterprises was also analyzed. The second section provides a general description of the activities of LLC “Kolosiia”. The analysis of sales of various commodity positions is carried out, the analysis of results of financial and economic activity, the analysis of the basic competitors in the market is carried out. A SWOT analysis was performed. The third section is devoted to the development of recommendations for the use of tools to eliminate the most pressing problems of growing planting material LLC " Kolosiia ". The introduction of drip irrigation method and use of biological plant protection method at “Kolosiia” LLC is proposed and economically substantiated, which will increase economic indicators by reducing production losses, and thus increase production growth and efficiency of the enterprise as a whole. Based on the results of the work, conclusions were made. Today, the environmental component is increasingly determining the direction of further development of agriculture in terms of food security and improving the quality of the environment, because already a number of international conventions outline changes in agricultural production models and the transition to an ecosystem approach. Therefore, an expedient way to increase the productivity of modern agricultural production is the formation of balanced agroecosystems, which will be provided by the transition to innovative agricultural technologies.
