Abstract: In market conditions, the success and competitiveness of the bank largely depend on the effectiveness of human resource management. Therefore, in the management tools of all governing bodies of banking institutions must play an important role in conducting an active and well-thought-out personnel policy. In this context, the relevance of the study of the current state of personnel policy of banking institutions, including some problematic issues and current directions of its further development becomes obvious. To date, many scientific studies are devoted to the peculiarities of the personnel policy of a modern banking institution, among which the works of O. Shapoval LK [1], OV Dubovik [2], Semiv RA [2] deserve special attention. Semiva [2], TV Mazilo [3], and others. Despite the fact that most of the problematic aspects, within the outlined topics, have been studied quite thoroughly and comprehensively, still, in our opinion, some of them are insufficiently covered. The object of research is the personnel policy of JSC "Ukrsibbank". The subject of research is theoretical and methodological and applied aspects of improving the personnel policy of a banking institution. The aim of the work is to study the process of personnel activity of JSC "Ukrsibbank". To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: - To analyze the theoretical and methodological principles of personnel activities on the example of JSC "Ukrsibbank"; - Identify the main approaches to building the organizational structure and management structure of the enterprise; - To present the structure of JSC "Ukrsibbank" as an object of management; 6 - Assess the financial and economic activities of JSC "Ukrsibbank"; - Assess the qualification and age structure of staff; - Provide recommendations for improving the personnel process of the enterprise. In the first section of the master’s qualification work the basics of research of personnel potential of institutions are considered and studied, the concept of personnel management system is revealed, methods of personnel activity evaluation are considered and comparative characteristics of foreign experience of personnel management in banking institutions are given. The second section analyzes the production and economic activities of JSC "Ukrsibbank", its organizational structure and personnel activities. The third section provides recommendations for improving the staffing and economic performance of the surveyed banking institution. The introduction of systems for identifying and developing talented employees and a system for adapting and motivating new staff is proposed. Recommendations for the organization of activities in a pandemic.
