Abstract: Socio-political significance of diplomatic protocol and etiquette in international relations and foreign policy of Arab countries, in particular the issue of compliance with diplomatic protocol and etiquette is relevant for every subject of international relations, as strict adherence to rules and norms of diplomatic practice is the key to positive and effective issues and establishing strong relationships in the international arena. Adherence to the norms and principles of diplomatic protocol and etiquette is an integral part of the diplomatic practice of the Arab world, which is the key to establishing effective interstate relations. Diplomatic protocol and etiquette are a set of norms and rules based on the customs and traditions of states; it is the national self-expression of each country, which is directly influenced by history, religion, ethnic and cultural characteristics. Violation of diplomatic traditions and customs, non-observance of diplomatic protocol and etiquette can lead to ineffective interstate negotiations, deterioration of relations between countries, failure to reach compromises and deterioration of image. In modern world processes, Arab states are most active and influential in the international arena. They position themselves as new promising leaders in the international world. However, the Arab countries are quite closed in terms of access to official information about life, traditions, culture, national heritage, history. The norms and rules of diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab states are specific and special. Study object ? diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab world. Scope of research ? features of the formation and transformation of the diplomatic protocol of the Arab world. Goal of research is to comprehensively study the essence, specifics, features of the formation and transformation of diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab countries in international relations. This master’s qualification work analyzes a significant source base of diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab world: features of formation and transformation, which includes the works of many foreign and domestic diplomats and scholars, including A. Buzarova, V. Galushko, A. Degtrenko, Yu. Katz, Y. Palekha and others. However, it should be noted that more attention is paid to the study of the peculiarities of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, while the transformation of diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab countries requires further research and study. The essence, specifics and peculiarities of the formation of diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab world have been studied and analyzed, and it has been investigated that they are based on religious laws and norms. The institutional level of implementation of the diplomatic protocol and etiquette of the Arab world has been determined. It was found that all these norms and rules are controlled, regulated and implemented by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs. The existing recent violations of the norms and principles of the Arab diplomatic protocol and etiquette are analyzed and it is determined that special attention should be paid to the representatives of the diplomatic corps to organize meetings between high-level representatives and their families. After all, non-compliance and ignorance, which are the main reasons for violating the rules of diplomatic protocol and etiquette of Arab countries, can cause not only an unpleasant impression of the country, but also worsen, or even destroy, good interstate relations. A comparative analysis of diplomatic protocol and etiquette on the example of six Arab countries. We can say that due to belonging to one religion and geographical location, we study the countries of the Arab world, namely: Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have much more in common than different . The peculiarities of the transformation of diplomatic protocol and etiquette on the example of the most ancient state in the world - Egypt - are studied in detail. We can say that the transformation of Egypt’s diplomatic protocol and etiquette has been quite dynamic. Studying the beginnings of diplomacy in ancient Egypt, we can say that it was there in the time of Cleopatra, the foundations of oratory and eloquence, as well as the art of negotiation and persuasion using nonverbal communication, which are still very popular among diplomats in Egypt. activities. The transformation of the modern diplomatic protocol requires a clear definition of the purpose, place, time of meetings, receptions, which take place in accordance with strict regulations. The spontaneity of the diplomatic protocol of Ancient Egypt was transformed into clearly regulated norms and principles.
