Abstract: The sphere of tourism requires a clear individual information system that will improve the quality of services. Important elements include the security and protection of customers’ personal data. In a market economy, the problem of information support of enterprises in the tourism industry is becoming increasingly important. The current state of the market is characterized by a high level of competition, a variety of basic and additional services that increase the level of work. The growing complexity of management and the need to control all activities of the tourist enterprise necessitates the implementation and use of information technology that allows to accelerate the process of creating and selling service packages to consumers, carry out marketing planning, financial, accounting and economic activities. In this regard, the process of tourism industry automation is relevant for any enterprise. Active implementation of modern information technologies is a necessary condition for successful operation, as accuracy, reliability, efficiency and high speed of processing and transmission of information determines the effectiveness of management decisions in this area. In modern society, information is an important and valuable resource, and the level of development of the country is assessed by the level of its informatization. Therefore, all countries around the world are making efforts to ensure the development of the information sphere, the creation of an appropriate computer environment. In particular, to improve the information system of tourist enterprises of Ukraine, the Committee on Family, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt a bill amending the Law of Ukraine "On Tourism" (on information support of the tourism industry). The draft law proposes to regulate the issues of state regulation of information support of the tourism industry [6]. To date, the development of automated information systems has grown rapidly. If in the past travel companies changed the technological equipment on average every 5-8 years, today this cycle has been reduced to 3-4 years and tends to increase further. According to a study by Microsoft, 60-70% of all travel companies will purchase new travel management systems within the next five years [5]. The effectiveness of automation is determined by a set of coordinated review measures formed methods and procedures, retraining of travel agency staff, development and transformation of information technology strategy of the enterprise. In our opinion, the implementation of modern information technologies in the management system of a travel agency requires, first of all, significant investments. Assessing the economic viability of investments is a very difficult task, especially because the purpose of acquiring new technologies is not only to reduce labor costs, but also to improve the quality and range of services, reduce the time of preparation of new services and increase service flexibility. Today, it is impossible to imagine the work of a modern travel agency without the Internet. It is used in almost all major business processes, from finding and attracting customers to the formation of a range of services. It allows not only to reduce the cost of communication, but also to get a real opportunity to establish the work of all participants in tourism services as a single office. The Internet still plays an insignificant role in the Ukrainian tourism business. Today, most Ukrainian travel companies use the Internet to advertise their capabilities in organizing travel services. Research shows that only about 17% of domestic travel companies have their own website, others do not have it at all, or it contains outdated information and has not been updated since its inception. The sites mainly advertise the company (86%) and tours (86%), information about its activities (79.1%) and booking conditions for tours (72.1%) [7]. Currently, even small travel agencies are able to use computers to automate business management. They need systems that provide information on the availability of vehicles and hotel facilities in the shortest time, provide quick reservations and adjustments, as well as automation of support programs for travel services, namely the arrangement of tickets, invoices, guides, providing background information, etc. The purpose of the work.
