Extended abstract The purpose of this thesis is to study the peculiarities of the procedure of land allocation for private farming in Lviv region. In general, the thesis consists of an introductory part, four chapters with conclusions, a general conclusion, a list of references and appendices to all chapters. The first chapter reveals the theoretical foundations of the practical principles of the development of private farming, provides an analysis of the legal framework for land allocation in Ukraine, land management at the present stage of development of land relations in Ukraine, analysis of modern scientific works on the topic of the master’s work, theoretical aspects of land allocation in Ukraine. Also in this section there is a description of the region where the object of study is located. The second section describes the object of study, describes the procedures for performing topographic and geodetic works, there is a set of topographic and geodetic works and spatial planning of the land plot, describes in detail the Plan of boundaries of zones of restrictions and easements of the land plot and the procedure for transferring the boundaries of the land plot in nature (on the ground). The third section studies the peculiarities of land management works during land allocation at the research object. The following important theoretical subdivisions are revealed: general provisions, obtaining a permit for the development of a land allocation project, preparation and approval of a land allocation project, registration of a land plot in the cadastre (SLC), approval of a land allocation project, registration of ownership of a land plot in the registration service of the State Registration Service of Ukraine. The fourth section - research part - problematic aspects of the formation of territorial restrictions and encumbrances in the use of land in the process of land management. The general conclusion contains generalizations on each theoretical and practical aspect of the problem, a brief description and evaluation of the research, the main provisions of the study, proposals and recommendations for real implementation in practice, the author’s position on the possibilities of launching and further prospects of the topic, general results and generalizations about the confirmation of the hypothesis, achievement of the tasks and goals set in the introduction. Theoretical aspects of the procedure of land allocation are founded by scientists [1-4], as well as groups of scientists who represent the Department of Cadastre of Territories of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" [5-12]. Study object – plot of land for personal farming. Scope of research – improvement of allotment of land plots for personal peasant farming. Goal of research – study of the peculiarities of the procedure for allocating a plot of land for personal peasant farming in the Lviv region. Research results. The main results outlined in the work will allow to speed up the pace and scope of development of the land reform of Ukraine. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the state management of land resources are outlined. The peculiarities of the formation of land management projects regarding the allocation of land plots have been determined. The composition of the land management project was analysed. The information to be entered in the State Land Cadastre is defined.
