Abstract: A construction of apartment buildings with a higher level of comfort and improved planning is developing rapidly in Ukraine. Ensuring comfortable living conditions and functioning of all systems of such buildings requires a reliable power supply with appropriate quality indicators. The development of a modern and reliable scheme of power-supply system of residential complexes is complicated and important task, which is topical in nowadays. The research object is the power-supply system of a residential complex. The research subject are methods of calculation of estimated loads and comparative analysis of power supply schemes’options in order to select the best option in accordance with economic indicators and reliability indicators. The aim of the work is to develop schemes of external power supply of the residential complex, and schemes of internal networks of apartment buildings in accordance with the regulatory requirements that ensure reliable power supply of the microdistrict. As a result of the carried out work, the variant of power-supply system of apartment buildings’ group, which is reliable and corresponding to a category of electric receivers concerning reliability of power supply, was offered [2]. That is, the power supply of II category electricity receivers is recommended to be provided from two independent mutually reserved power sources, and interruption in their power supply in case of power failure from one power source is acceptable only for the time required to turn on backup power by action of regular staff or operational visiting crew. The economic efficiency of the power-supply system was taken into account by the method of discounted costs. Taking into account the technical and economic indicators, the cables were selected, as well as the voltage supply line of the receiving point of residential complex, which is 10 kV. The proposed scheme of power supply allows to provide high quality of electric energy. Power supply is carried out at a voltage of 220 V for single-phase network - and 380 V for three-phase one. The voltage change does not exceed ± 10% of the nominal voltage [3]. To minimize energy and voltage losses in the supply and distribution networks of the power supply system (EPS) of the residential complex, the center of electrical loads (CEN) is determined and the designed transformer substation is located closer to the CEN from the supply side. For protection of person from electric shock and the building from lightning, the calculation of protective grounding [5]. The developed power-supply system is universal and easily adapts to some variation of initial conditions, and also the possibility of its further development is provided. For internal buildings networks, circuit breakers were selected for protection against short-circuit currents and for switching off load currents, and differential automata – for protection against leakage currents. For financial calculations between the power transmission organization and the consumer for the transmitted/consumed active energy, accounting devices were selected.
