Abstract: Komar A.I., Lyulchak Z.S. Optimization of logistics activities of the LB of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination. Master’s qualification work. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2022. Extended abstract. Management of logistics activities at the enterprise is the basis for optimization of technological processes of production, material and technical support, transportation and sales of products, rationalization of document flow, design of production, warehouse and auxiliary premises, creation of highly efficient communication infrastructure and organizational management structures. The issue of managing logistics activities at the enterprise is an important component of the study, because the successful functioning of any enterprise directly depends on the competent construction of the enterprise’s logistics system and flow management system. Management of logistics activities of the enterprise is an important component of business operations, as it affects internal processes and relations with customers. The management of logistics activities has a leading role in the operational management of the enterprise, in the timely delivery of products and especially in ensuring the improvement of production efficiency, since all issues related to the use of production resources in time and space are resolved within these frameworks. Skillful management of logistics activities allows to increase the organizational and economic stability of business entities on the market of goods and services, minimize aggregate costs and increase the profitability of enterprises. Theoretical and applied issues of optimization of the enterprise’s logistics activities in the context of their implementation of logistics functions are reflected in the works of many domestic scientists, in particular: E. Krykavskyi [1], V. Kulik [2], M. Grigorak [2], L. Kostyuchenko [2] , A. Ovdienko [3], I. Lutsenko [3], N. Chornopyska [4], N. Chukhrai [5], O. Hirna [5] and others, which consider the issues of accelerating the movement of material flows, reducing the volume of aggregate stocks, optimizing the cost structure, increasing the level of logistics service, etc. Study object - LB of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination. Scope of research - theoretical, methodical and applied aspects of managing logistics activities of LB of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination. Goal of research – the study of theoretical and methodological principles and the development of practical approaches to optimizing the management of logistics activities of LB of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination. Briefly put research results. The field research program of the LD of qualification examination in 2021 provided that only 21 hectares of land will be used for experiments at the enterprise. Of all varieties of plants grown by the enterprise in 2021, 1317 varieties were subject to examination. LB of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination brings significant benefits to the Ukrainian economy, as it has the right to sell all agricultural products grown on experimental fields to consumers, meeting the needs for quality agricultural products and ensuring Ukraine’s food security. With regard to the structure of logistics costs of the Lviv branch for 2019-2021, in 2020, compared to the previous year, logistics costs increased by UAH 118 000 or 40,05%, and in 2021, compared to 2020, by UAH 249 000 or 41,06%. The largest share of the company’s logistics costs is accounted for by inventory holding costs (36...38%) and transportation costs (33%). The generalized indicator of the efficiency of the logistics system of the Lviv branch is 0,69. Given the fact that logistics activities are related to the movement and optimization of logistics flows, the implementation of a CRM document flow management system can significantly affect the improvement of the quality of the logistics service of the Lviv branch of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination. Depending on the budget and policy of the Lviv branch, based on the calculations, three service level improvement programs are offered: optimal, recommended and exclusive. If there are free funds and a desire, it is suggested for the Lviv branch of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination to increase the level of logistics service to the recommended level, when 20% of the invested funds will give a service level of 93,6%. For the Lviv branch the «Recommended» program will be optimal, within the framework of which it is proposed to implement a CRM document management system; create a customer account for tracking the status of the order on the website; ensure that the «Free Call» module is added to the site; integrate the CRM system into the website; to improve the organizational structure of the enterprise.
