Abstract: The master’s thesis is devoted to the research of resort apart-hotels. The rapid growth of the tourism industry over the past decade has led to a significant expansion of this industry [1]. In the modern world, a hotel is characterized as a building with 24-hour technological process, namely the accommodation of guests and additional services that the object provides [2]. Apart-hotel is a complex of serviced apartments based on a hotel-type reservation system [3]. The main advantage of this type of hotel is their functionality, which is not available in classic rooms. This type is new and unexplored in the hotel business, but it is developing every day and is gaining popularity among young and experienced travelers. That is why the research of this type of hotel complexes is necessary for the further development of the hospitality industry, which is an important sector in the life of each of us and significantly contributes to the growth of GDP. The object of the research - is resort apart-hotels with all their components, functional-spatial scheme and architectural-planning solution. The subject of the research - is the peculiarities of the architecture of apartment- hotel complexes in the resort area. 4 The purpose of the research - is to define and organize the main criteria for designing a functional and competitive apart-hotel. Elucidation of standards in the design of apartment hotels, identification of the peculiarities of architectural solutions. Formation of recommendations for further design of this type of buildings. The result of the research is the determination of the main requirements and trends for the formation of a successful apartment-hotel complex. After all, this type of hotel is able to provide its visitors with home comfort and comfort, which are not available in classic hotel rooms.
