Abstract: The master’s qualification work analyzes the interaction and mutual influence of the road and the environment, including those that allow to assess the impact of the most important components of the environment on the cost of road construction works. The sources of impact of roads on the environment are systematized. The analysis of normative documentation on environmental requirements during the design of roads was carried out. The list of preventive measures to reduce the negative impact on the environment is formed. A comprehensive assessment of the qualitative state of the road based on the use of defectiveness coefficients is proposed.
