Master’s qualification work. - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2022. Extended abstract. In modern conditions, the problem of housing for every family is very acute. In connection with this, there is an urgent need for a significant number of residential areas in the city of Uzhhorod. Nowadays, the construction of multi-story buildings is gaining more and more popularity. Families are being built and the need for own housing is growing. An apartment building can meet these needs. With an increase in the number of floors, the density of the housing stock increases, the building area decreases, which saves the city territory, and costs for engineering networks and the improvement of the territory are reduced. Buying an apartment entails considerable costs. In my diploma project, I designed a 10-story building in which it is necessary to design apartments in such a way that accessibility to young families, low-income citizens, and low-mobility population groups is possible. The intensive development of construction equipment is accompanied by the introduction of industrial construction methods, new construction and structural systems. Recently, in connection with the country’s transition to a market economy, a large number of fundamentally new construction materials in terms of constructive and decorative indicators have appeared. Meanwhile, as a result of increased competition among manufacturers in the market of building materials, their prices are inevitably reduced, and quality and assortment are improved. The object of construction is the construction of a 10-story residential building in the city of Uzhhorod. The purpose of construction is to solve the problems of this region. The residential building refers to multi-storey residential buildings of the sectional type: building class according to durability = 1, fire resistance class of the building = 1, the residential building is equipped with a passenger elevator with a load capacity of 800 kg foundation - monolithic foundation slab; ceiling and covering - beamless monolithic slabs. Structural scheme - with longitudinal and transverse load-bearing walls. The spatial rigidity of the building is ensured by the appropriate location of the external and internal walls. The role of the horizontal stiffness diaphragm is performed by the floor and stairwell and elevator shaft and columns. To reduce the risk of deformations, the building has a deformation seam. The graphic part of the master’s qualification work is represented by ten sheets, which display: architectural solutions, solutions on the technology and organization of construction production, as well as construction drawings that were calculated in the structural section.
