Abstract: Fok A.I., Tytarenko R.Yu. (head). Reconstruction of a property complex for a rehabilitation center in the city of Svalyava at 11 Dukhnovycha St. Master’s thesis. – Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2022. Extended abstract. The reconstruction of buildings and structures is an essential component of the construction sector because its social tasks consist of the radical renewal of buildings and the housing and public fund planning structure. Moreover, these tasks provide for improving living conditions, recreation, and treatment of citizens (following the topic of the master’s qualification work) of both old and new urban areas by modern requirements. In the first (architectural and construction) section of the qualification work, the architectural and construction solutions of the (existing) construction object were developed, as well as solutions for its reconstruction into a rehabilitation center and an extension of the building of a closed swimming pool. The floor area of the building after the reconstruction is five floors (2 floors are superimposed). Construction should take place in the city of Svalyava. Structural scheme of the building – with external and internal load-bearing walls. Within this section, the master plan, facades, sections, floor plans, and nodes are designed, as well as explanations of the elements of the general plan and premises are given. The second (calculation-constructive) section includes the calculation and construction of the load-bearing structural elements of the building (including reinforcement elements) - prefabricated reinforced concrete round hollow floor slab, elements of the metal cage covering the attached pool, as well as elements of the wooden roof (over the completed mansard floor) – crates and rafters. The graphic part of the section contains drawings of calculated elements, nodes, sections, specifications, and solutions for strengthening the existing structures of the building for further transfer of the increased load to them. In the third (technological and organizational) section, the technology of installing external fixed thermal insulation was considered (a technological map was developed for this type of work). The construction master plan and the calendar schedule for the execution of construction and installation works have been designed. In addition, the selection of a mobile crane for the installation of elements and calculating technical and economic indicators of the calendar schedule. In the fourth chapter (on construction economics), estimate documentation was developed based on the TEP of the reconstructed building. The total estimated cost was about 3 million hryvnias. The fifth chapter (scientific) is devoted to an analytical review of the technology of adding fibers to reinforced concrete in construction, the technology of their production, and the method of determining the physical and mechanical properties of fiber-reinforced concrete (based on existing research). As a result of the master’s qualification work, a project was developed for the reconstruction of a property complex for a rehabilitation center in the city of Svalyava at 11 Dukhnovycha St., and the issue of adding fibers to reinforced concrete in construction was also studied.
