Abstract: When designing sealing connections, special attention is paid to improving the efficiency of sealing and reducing the massive indicators of the projected node. The main advantage of valve seals with non -metallic seals is to ensure high tightness at low contact pressure in the sealing joint. The use of non -metallic seals allows you to create small high -reliable structures of sealing devices. In cases of use of reciprocal or rotational motion of a technological element (stem, shaft, etc.) in responsible conditions where leaks of sealed working environment can lead to undesirable consequences, with the purpose of guaranteed prevention of leakage sealing nodes. The use of ring seals, as sealants of the rotating movement of the technological organs, is quite effective enough to prevent the leaks of sealing media said in many technological units in many technological units. Already at the design stage, you need to be able to evaluate the tightness in the joints of sealing elements. The methods of calculating tightness are based on the combination of physical laws that describe the process of tiring a working environment with patterns that are determined by such characteristics of contact of rough surfaces as the actual contact area, intercontact volume, medium gap. The costs of the working environment through seals depend on the cube of the average gap, so the error of 20% in the defined value leads to an error of 73% (1.23 = 1,728) when calculating the tights. Thus, the accuracy of the calculation of the tights depends on the accuracy of determining the characteristics of the contact. The engineering technique for creating ring rotation seals uses sufficiently simple recommendations and dependences, which allows them to be used in practice. The work analyzes on the basis of experimental data. The object of research: a ring seal of rotating motion. The subject of the study: geometric, structural, technological parameters of circular seals of rotating motion. The purpose of the study: study of the influence of geometric, structural and technological parameters of annular seals of rotary motion on the efficiency of sealing of liquid media. Investigation of hydrodynamic phenomena in the sealing zone of the annular compaction in order to optimize the geometric and structural parameters of the sealing elements. The first section of the work provides classification features, methods and equipment for the use of annular seals of rotary motion for sealing of liquid media. The features of the circular seals described The second section of the work describes a variety of designs of circular rotating motion of seals and the features of their work. The third section of the work investigates the influence of the structural features of the annular seals on the efficiency of sealing. The influence on the effectiveness of sealing of the following factors is analyzed: geometric parameters of rings and counterclays, material and its physical properties of elements of the annular seal, time of tightening of friction pairs. The temperature limits of efficient operation of the annular seal and the power consumed to rotate the moving seal rings are determined. The fourth section of the work made an economic assessment of the project decision. First, planning the master’s work and the calculation of costs for its implementation were planned. The following calculations of operating costs for the design decision were made and the cost of consumption of the design decision was determined. The term of development and implementation of the project decision is 71 days, and the costs of its development and implementation will be UAH 30112.9. This design decision will have a term of use – 5 years. The annual costs for the operation of the design decision will be UAH 16185.5. The design solution will have the cost of consumption for the organization-developer 174.17 UAH. per day and for the buyer organization – 179.26 UAH. per day during the entire life. Project decisions and relevant researches indicate their use and expediency in practice. Economic calculations – indicate the economic efficiency of their implementation and further use.
