Abstract: The explanatory note contains 162 pages of A4 format plus annexes (assembly drawings, technological documentation sets), the graphic part consists of thirteen sheets of A1 format. Keywords: technological inheritability, technological damageability, failure physics, technological process, technological route, technological operation, technological step, metal -cutting tool, allowance, surface, cutting modes, base, base, error, admission, etc. In the scientific part of the master’s qualification work, the methodology of functionally oriented technologies of machine-building production during the mechanical processing of parts of machines and mechanisms and the methodology of system provision of the necessary reliability parameters in compliance with the regulated parameters of the products, which evaluates the influence of the main elements of the technological system of VPID(Z) in the process of inheriting important parameters quality during mechanical processing of products at all stages in their life cycles received further development. The method of optimization of cutting modes was developed in the process of mechanical processing of parts according to economic criteria with the help of Markov chains. A method for determining the reliability indicators of machine parts blanks and elements of the technological environment "metal cutting machine - device - metal cutting tool (s)" at transitions and operations in the technological processes of mechanical processing of machine parts has been developed, based on the results of which the probabilities of ensuring product parameters in the process of technological inheritance are calculated taking into account principles of object- and functionally-oriented technologies of machine-building production Developed application programs, as well as algorithms for mathematical calculations, computer simulation of technical processes of mechanical processing of product details were implemented at the Department of Robotics and Integrated Technologies of Mechanical Engineering of the IMIT National University "Lviv Polytechnic" for the training of master’s students in the specialization 131.3 "Technology of Mechanical Engineering" specialty 131 "Applied mechanics" of the field of knowledge 13 "Mechanical engineering", in particular during the study of the disciplines "Technological assurance of the reliability of machine parts" and "design of technological equipment and transport systems". In the engineering part of the master’s qualification work, according to the task, the technological process of mechanical processing of the part "Pump housing 5448022-5218042-000" was developed. The description of the official assignment and the technical requirements for the detail have been carried out. The type and organizational form of production has been established, the method of obtaining the workpiece - casting has been selected and economically substantiated, a rational version of the technological process of mechanical processing of the part has been developed. During the detailed development of the technological process, allowances and interoperational dimensions are established, cutting modes are defined and models of technological equipment are selected, technical standardization of the technological process is carried out. A machine tool for milling planes has been developed. The economic part of the work has been calculated. According to calculations, the term of development and adoption of a project decision is 113 days. The graphic part of the project contains 13 sheets of A1 format. Appendices – a set of technological documentation: route map, operational maps, sketch maps; a set of design documentation - a specification for a milling device.
