Abstract: In a situation where the foreign economic environment is rapidly changing, traditional methods of enterprise management become less effective. The enterprise’s strategic foreign economic activity involves the use of modern methods of portfolio analysis, which provide information on the structure and composition of the enterprise’s product portfolio, as well as trends in the development of the relevant market. Portfolio analysis is a group of methods for studying strategic business units that are part of an enterprise or product range, aimed at evaluating the efficiency of economic activity and the distribution of financial resources, investing in promising projects and reducing costs in inefficient areas [1-5]. The main method of portfolio analysis is the construction of matrices that allow comparing strategic business units according to various criteria. The results of the portfolio analysis are used by the management to determine prospects for the development or liquidation of strategic business units in the future. Thus, portfolio analysis is based on the commercial offer of the enterprise, which includes already existing goods or services [1-5].
