Abstract: The study examines the direct and indirect impact of the newly constructed Baltic Pipe gas pipeline on the development of the energy policy of the Baltic states. It has been determined that the inclusion of energy resources from the Kingdom of Norway has a positive impact on the energy security of the countries of the region and is accentuated by the increasing level of geopolitical tension in the region. Study object – energy policy of the Baltic states. Scope of research – impact of the Baltic Pipe on the energy policy of Baltic states. Goal of research – Comprehensive analysis of the transformational processes of the energy policy of the Baltic states that follow the opening of the Baltic Pipe and exploration of the prospects for the development of the energy policy of the countries in the region. It is demonstrated that the Baltic Pipe serves as a tool for diversifying and securitizing gas supply sources to the Baltic region. The inclusion of liquefied natural gas delivered through the pipeline establishes alternative means of obtaining energy resources by integrating the gas systems of Central and Eastern European countries, including the Baltic states, with the Scandinavian system, that is being considered an instrument for overcoming the energy dependence of the region. It has been examined that the Baltic Pipe exerts a significant influence on the implementation of the energy aspect of the foreign policy of the Baltic countries and contributes to the intensification of cooperative processes between the states of the region and suppliers of liquefied natural gas, such as the Kingdom of Norway and Poland. It is determined that the key aspects of such cooperation involve the examination of issues related to the prospective development of the main infrastructure and interconnector networks that will facilitate the transportation of liquefied natural gas from Norway to Poland and subsequently to the Baltic region. It is summarized that a significant consequence of the beginning of exploitation of Baltic Pipe is the activation of intergovernmental dialogue within existing international initiatives and organizations regarding the further development of energy projects in the region. This also includes conducting research on opportunities to enhance energy efficiency in the existing energy infrastructure and achieve greater carbon neutrality following the inclusion of energy resources delivered through the Baltic Pipe facilities.
