Abstract: Stadnytskyi D. M., Klimkovich T. A. (supervisor). Development of an information system to explore ways of using cryptocurrency for micropayments and e-commerce. Master’s thesis - Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, 2023. Extended abstract. This master’s thesis is devoted to the development of the information system of the sim racing club "Shift" in Lviv, aimed at optimizing and expanding the club’s services through the introduction of online booking and innovative payment methods. One of the main tasks of the system is to introduce a convenient and efficient online booking system that allows customers to quickly and easily reserve a car simulator using standard payment methods and cryptocurrency. In addition, the system includes a unique aspect of using NFT subscriptions for customers who decide on cryptocurrency payment methods. This approach gives customers not only access to car simulators, but also the opportunity to own unique NFTs that can be gifted or used in future bookings. The object of research is the possibility of using cryptocurrency for micropayments and NFT to create a decentralized ticket. The subject of the study is anonymization and simplification of the payment process in online stores. The purpose of the research is to study, develop and test a decentralized web application for a sim racing club that uses a decentralized system for registration, payment and receipt of a decentralized ticket. As a result of the master’s work, an information system will be created and implemented for the sim racing club "Shift" in Lviv, which includes innovative elements of online booking and cryptocurrency payment service. The system allows users to efficiently and conveniently reserve gaming events and car simulators using both standard payment methods and cryptocurrency options. A unique aspect is the use of NFT subscriptions for users, which allows them to own unique NFTs and use them in future bookings or exchange with other users. The implementation of this system is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the club’s business processes, expanding the audience through the cryptocurrency segment, and increasing customer loyalty due to innovative opportunities for obtaining and exchanging NFT subscriptions.
