Abstract: The project of the information system for creating a learning load is aimed at the development and implementation of a comprehensive information system designed to optimize the process of creating a learning load in educational institutions. The project includes the analysis of current problems and challenges related to the preparation of the educational schedule, the distribution of the teaching load, as well as taking into account the individual characteristics of students and teachers. The main goals of the project include the development of convenient and effective tools for planning and monitoring the educational process, taking into account various criteria and limitations. The system will be based on modern technologies of information systems, such as artificial intelligence, data processing and web technologies. The result of the project is expected to be the creation of a functional information platform that will contribute to the automation and optimization of the processes of forming the educational load, ensuring the effective use of resources and improving the quality of the educational process [1]. In the master’s qualification work, the process of developing an information system project aimed at automating the department’s activities and optimizing the formation of the educational load for it is considered in detail. The problems of project management were studied and the decisions made during its implementation were determined, as well as the factors influencing the adoption of relevant management decisions. The main goals of the system are to increase the efficiency of the employees of the educational institution, the use of the latest information technologies, and the effective management of information flows at the department and in the educational institution in general. In order to make optimal management decisions, a system analysis of the subject area was performed, and appropriate UML diagrams were developed. The functional content of the projected information system has been defined, which includes the processing of data on educational plans, the calculation of the teaching load of teachers, the formation of the schedule of educational groups and other aspects. The system should provide reports according to the requests of the methodologist and other users of the system. The project requirements were defined and analyzed in detail, the main requirements for the project were determined, and the project solution plan was implemented. The choice of technical and software tools for project implementation is substantiated. The roles of the main representatives of the customer and the executor are defined, the list of project participants and their functional responsibilities are included. The sequence of works, their synchronization and labor costs are described in detail. On the basis of these data, a Gantt chart and corresponding diagrams of resource consumption are constructed. The critical path of project development is defined, which requires special attention during its implementation. An analysis of possible risks was carried out and recommendations for their elimination were provided. Thanks to the implementation of the developed information system in the practice of the educational institution, it is expected to reduce the time for compiling information, structuring and systematizing data on students, subjects and teachers, as well as the possibility of expanding the system to automate the management of the educational process. The aim of the thesis is to develop a project of an information system for automation of the department’s activities, which also provides for the distribution of the educational load based on the activities of one of the departments of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. The subject of the research is work on the project of an information system for calculating and distributing the educational load of the department. The object of the study is the process of optimizing the work of a confectionery shop by creating a web application in which you can order confectionery products with the option of choosing ingredients, online payment and product delivery.
