Abstract: Modern society cannot be imagined without the use of information technology, which is an important element in the development of commerce, education, public administration and interpersonal relations. In a world where digitalization is accelerating and competition is growing, the ability to properly plan employees’ work is a key to success in the IT sector. The use of modern information systems to improve work procedures is critical to increasing efficiency and ensuring adaptability in managing company resources [1]. Human resource management in IT companies requires special attention to planning and task allocation, taking into account dynamic changes in technology and project requirements. The basics of employee workforce planning in IT cover a wide range of concepts, from classical project management to modern agile methodologies. The development of project management systems remains extremely relevant in the software market due to the ever-growing business needs for efficiency, flexibility, and the ability to quickly adapt to changes. Modern projects are becoming increasingly complex and multidimensional, which requires improved tools for their management. They must ensure effective collaboration at a distance, and modern users want convenient, fast, and accessible interfaces that they can master without long-term training [2]. An analytical review of the literature was carried out, systematizing and analyzing modern sources and research on the use of IT in employee work planning. Particular attention is paid to the theoretical foundations of employee work planning in IT, including a historical overview of the development of project management methods and modern approaches such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. A detailed analysis of well-known software solutions, such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, and Trello, is provided, evaluating their functionality, advantages, disadvantages, and suitability for different types of projects and organizations. This review emphasizes the variety of tools available and the need to choose the right solution for the specifics of a particular IT company. The section on systems analysis discusses the problems and challenges that can arise when developing information technology for work planning in IT companies, such as uncertainty of requirements, variability of business processes, technical limitations, complexity of integration, and others. It also proposes strategies and approaches to minimize these problems, including end-user involvement, agile development methods, prototyping, modularity, regular code reviews, test automation, an integrated approach to testing, and gradual system implementation. As a result of the study, software was developed that allows IT project participants to participate in the work planning process. The developed software has an intuitive interface, provides managers with the ability to effectively organize and manage projects, and developers - to easily report on progress in completing tasks. The database is hosted in the MongoDB Atlas cloud, which uses MongoDB as a database management system (DBMS). This hosting allows users to access the web application from anywhere in the world. This application was created in accordance with the established criteria and can be implemented in real workflows after making minor improvements. Detailed instructions for using the information system have been developed. In the process of considering the test case, operations were performed on behalf of two types of users: "Developer" and "Project Manager". On behalf of the project manager, a profile was created, a new project was initiated, a task board was created, and a task was assigned to the developer. On behalf of the developer, a new account was registered and the full range of available actions in this role was shown, including creating, editing, and updating task statuses. The results of the test scenario analysis were supplemented with relevant screenshots from the program to confirm the actions performed. The object of research in this paper is the process of work planning for employees of IT companies. The subject of the study is the methods and tools of work planning for employees of IT companies. The purpose of the study is to analyze existing analog products in order to select their strengths and implement solutions to their shortcomings. Keywords - Labor planning, IT, management, projects.
