Abstract: The master’s thesis is devoted to the development of the optimal process for the production of sulfuric acid, taking into account modern technological requirements and standards. In the work, an overview of sulfuric acid production technologies was carried out. The choice of the technological scheme, based on which the calculations and design of the main and auxiliary equipment were made, is justified. The result of the calculations was the optimal parameters of the technological process, which made it possible to minimize the loss of raw materials and energy, ensure the high quality of the final product, and guarantee the safety of the entire process. The work also includes economic calculations of the project, which confirm its economic efficiency. So, this master’s thesis represents a full cycle of designing the production process, from the choice of technology to the economic justification of the feasibility of the project.
