Abstract: In this master’s qualification work, the production of composites based on polyvinyl chloride and the production of cable and conductor products based on them is designed. A literature review of the methods of obtaining, properties and application of PVC composites and the production of electrical conductors based on them was conducted. Technological, in particular, rheological properties of modified PVC plastics were studied. Basic technological schemes for obtaining modified PVC composites and their application on a metal surface have been developed (justification of technological stages and process parameters). The characteristics of raw materials and materials and finished products are given, the material balance of the process of obtaining PVC composites is calculated. In the technological calculations, the main and auxiliary equipment for the production and application of modified PVC composites to the copper wire was selected. Also, the work provides labor protection measures, describes the characteristics of dangerous and harmful factors of production, and gives a list of reasons that can lead to an accident at the enterprise.
