Abstract: The relevance of the research on the preparation and training of personnel in Ukraine is driven by negative trends observed in the country, including war, high mortality rates, migration, and male mobilization. There is a lack of targeted national strategies and policies in the field of professional training, which affects the competitiveness of the national workforce. This research is aimed at organizing professional training for entrepreneurial personnel to overcome these challenges. The objective of the research is to study and apply international experience in personnel training in companies of Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The object of the research at the macro level is the international economic relations between the United Kingdom and Ukraine, and at the micro level, it is LLC "Petexpert," which specializes in online retail. The research employed methods of synthesis, analysis, determination, evaluation, structuring, abstraction, generalization, and forecasting using economic and mathematical methods, particularly trend models. The information base of the research included literary and methodological sources, articles in specialized and international journals, internet sources, regulatory acts, and financial statements of LLC "Petexpert" for 2020-2023. The main resource of an organization is its employees. Personnel training consists of actions aimed at finding, evaluating, and establishing connections with the workforce both within and outside the company. The achievements of scientists can be interpreted through basic principles that shape personnel potential: systematic training, equal opportunities, team unity, strategic alignment, flexibility, diversity, business goal orientation, shared employee behavior, work-life balance, and effective talent management. The legislative regulation of employment and personnel training in Ukraine is based on the Labor Code, laws "On Population and Employment of Ukraine," "On Collective Agreements," "On the Procedure for Resolving Collective Labor Disputes," "On Remuneration of Labor," and "On Occupational Safety." The regulation covers the interaction between employees and employers, the activities of trade unions, collective agreements, remuneration, work duration, rest periods, disciplinary aspects, qualification enhancement, and conflict resolution. LLC "Petexpert" specializes in online retail. The company was founded in 2019 and has 45 employees. The main activities include purchasing and selling goods through online stores, expanding the product range, providing high-quality services, and implementing innovative technologies. The evaluation of the company’s economic indicators for 2020-2023 showed growth in net income, total profit, assets, and equity. The recommendations address ways to improve personnel training at LLC "Petexpert." It is proposed to use international experience for developing the personnel training system, implementing new training methods, developing qualification enhancement programs, and introducing innovative technologies. The evaluation of economic results showed a positive impact of the implemented measures on the company’s development. The research confirms the necessity of implementing international experience in personnel training to enhance company competitiveness. The application of innovative training methods contributes to the development of human capital, increases efficiency, and boosts productivity. The recommendations developed based on international experience will help LLC "Petexpert" achieve high economic performance and strengthen its market position.
