Abstract: This master’s thesis is devoted to a comprehensive comparative analysis of geodetic procedures related to establishing the location of boundary signs, using the example of two countries – Ukraine and Poland. The work emphasizes the importance of establishing the location of boundary signs as an integral element of the legal formalization of land relations, effective land resource management, and preventing disputes over the boundaries of neighboring plots. The work focuses on a detailed study of the regulatory framework, technical requirements, and procedures for performing geodetic works in Ukraine and Poland. The study identifies similarities and significant differences in the approaches of both countries to organizing and performing geodetic works, which allows for identifying the most effective practices and proposing their adaptation. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comparative analysis of geodetic procedures related to establishing the location of boundary signs within the context of different legal and technical systems. Key aspects that can be integrated into the practices of Ukraine and Poland to improve efficiency have been identified. The study results are aimed at improving land management procedures, developing recommendations for optimizing geodetic works, and harmonizing legal standards within the framework of Ukraine’s integration into the European space. Poland’s experience as a country that has successfully adapted its land and cadastral processes to European requirements is an essential benchmark for practical solutions. The object of research - a residential and public development land plot in Ukraine and a residential development land plot in Poland. The subject of research - a set of geodetic and land management works related to establishing the location of boundary signs and their establishment in Ukraine and Poland. Research methods. The following methods were applied in the study: monographic – for analyzing general data and theoretical aspects of geodetic works; system analysis – for studying the structure of the regulatory framework and procedures for creating technical documentation in Ukraine and Poland; statistical – for evaluating data obtained during geodetic works in Ukraine and Poland; abstract-logical method – for formulating conclusions and proposals; graphic method – for presenting research results in the form of tables, schemes, and drawings. Research results The study conducted a comparative analysis of geodetic procedures in Ukraine and Poland related to establishing the location of boundary signs. Key differences in regulatory frameworks, technical requirements, and procedures for developing technical documentation were identified. In particular, this study performed a comparative analysis of the Ukrainian and Polish systems for conducting procedures related to establishing the location of boundary signs. This approach allowed us to identify not only the strengths and weaknesses of each country but also outline potential ways for mutual improvement. Specifically, it was proposed to improve the boundary agreement procedure in Ukraine by regulating mandatory methods of notifying neighbors about geodetic works in the land legislation, as well as introducing mechanisms for digitalization and integration of cadastral and geodetic data, taking Poland’s effective system as an example. It will contribute to increasing the efficiency of land and cadastral processes, adapting best practices, and harmonizing procedures in line with modern international standards. Keywords: geodetic works, land management, boundary determination, boundary restoration, land plot, cadastral works, technical documentation, comparative analysis. List of used literature sources 1.
